"We can try, Ally!" Ridi cried at the Elf. "It might be impossible, but we can try!" She looked at her with huge eyes, hoping for an answer. "If those Vampires can do it, then maybe we can too!"

Aiko's blue eyes opened in fear, seeing the dark figure. She felt herself being pushed forward, she now stood in front of the king. She bowed her head, not wanting to make eye contact with the man. Kaori.. Ridi... if you can hear me, don't follow. she thought, seeing the heavily gaurded walls. You'll all die if you try and follow. She thought sadly, her brown hair flitting about in the breeze.

Ridi's eyes grew larger at hearing Aiko's message. Her eyes shifted to their corners, not sure what to do now. Aiko, we need to help you! she thought, hoping maybe Aiko could hear her.

I'll be fine! They won't kill me, I'm worth ransom money. Go back and get help! Don't worry about me! She thought worridly. Where's Nakaia? Her wings were cramped from being tied up, she moved them around a little. The rope bounding her was strong, making it hard, but she managed to uncramp them. She sighed, just wanting to be free.

"Come, my dear, don't a stranger, walk with me, inside." Kirsdarke said, a slightly sadistic merriment playing on his eyes. He beckoned to her, and walked back into the darkness of his Tower, escorted by four guards. The remaining two Imperial Guards waited for Aiko to follow him, making sure she didn't escape.

Aiko followed, tracing the ground with her eyes. "When will I go home?" She asked quietly. "What use do you have with me?" she asked softly, her hair flowing as she walked, her wings terribly cramped.
Her light brown hair swayed in the breeze, whisping across her face. Freedom... she thought sadly.

Kirsdarke called over his shoulder, "Well, possibly never, though if your father negotiates with me, perhaps I can facilitate your return. But I wouldn't count on it," he said sadistically. He continued to walk on, then going up several flights of stairs, then stopped before a door. He told Aiko, "My dear, this will be your room."
Opening the door, Kirsdarke surveyed the room, seeing a large, lavendar colored canopy bed, along with expensively dyed furniture, everything in various shades of purple or black. "Just pull on the rope in the corner if you need anything, though don't try to escape, the servants won't aid you in anything like that."
Kirsdarke focused, then drew power from the shadow-bond between him and every shadowmage that was a Vampire, and locked away the part of her mind that let her access her magic, as well as the section of her mind that told her how to fly. Then, he left her, and two guards stayed outside of her door, waiting for her to enter.

Aiko waited till the gaurds had left, then raced to the bed, throwing herseld onto it. She buried her face into it's surface, tears falling down her fair cheeks. "I want to go home!" She wailed. Lord Zane.. if you can hear me, help! I'm in the Vampire Castle. I don't know what they will do to me. She thought anxiously, hopeing that the king would hear her.

The corners of Ridi's lips quivered, as she replayed Aiko's voice repeatedly in her mind. Aiko... she thought, I can't just leave you there with those horrid Vampires! A sudden wind shift came, blowing towards the castle. Now's our chance, Aiko. I'm sorry. The Fairy took Kaori's hand, and the Elf on her back, and made a sudden take off towards the tower.

"WHAT ARE YOU, CRAZY?! WE CAN'T GET THERE! THEY'LL KILL ALL OF US, INCLUDING HER!!" Ally screamed as she was yanked through the air at top speeds, panicking about being this high up and with no means of control.

((Not so smart... time to die little Fairies... you're up against like 3 thousand Vampires... and 8 Wyverns))
Hundreds of Vampire suddenly popped up, on the outer wall, firing over a thousand crossbow bolts on their repeaters. They quickly reloaded, and fired volley after volley into the air. Soon the sky was covered with sheets of bolts, with intermittant breaks to reload. Eight Wyverns rose up, into the air, and sped towards the Fairies, as well as the lone Elf. Their riders fired 40 crossbow bolts, then drew their lances. A single hit with the razor-sharp tip would skewer the Fairies like a shishkabob.
Kirsdarke swept majestically into Aiko's room, and said, "My dear, your little friends here are trying to rescue you. Unfortunately for them, this is one of the most heavily guarded places on the planet, so there is an almost one hundred percent chance that all of them will die." Kirsdarke paused, to cruelly drive the point deeper. "It really wasn't that smart of them, and if you will excuse me, I need to go personally kill them. Farewell, my dear." He swept out, and told the two guards outside the door, "Do not let her come out, but have a servant bring her anything she needs."
Kirsdarke entered the enclosure that housed his personal Wyvern, Ryhenna, and he swiftly leapt upon her back. After becoming comfortably settled, he strapped his jet black armor on, made of black diamonds, which had been gathered by his predecessors for generations. He then urged Ryhenna up, and she surged upward, with several strong beats of her wings. He couched his lance, and prepared to slaughter some poor little Fairies.

"Nice going smart one," Ally hissed through clenched teeth, trying to turn to see the surrounding enemies. "I didn't plan to make this my deathbed, but your idiotic plan made it happen. Great going."
The Elf struggled to see where whatever arrow that would kill her would come from, shakily pulling out her beloved pistol and aiming it randomly around the circle. She knew it was pointless, but it was her only means of defense at the current moment in this deadly place she liked to call life.

Aiko screamed. "NO!" LEAVE NOW! RUN AWAY! I'LL BE FINE! She sent through her thoughts to the others. Just run!
She lunged for the door after the vampire, but it was to late, the door was closed. She pounded on it uselessly with her fists. I have to get out... She thought. She tried to fly, but it was pointless. She oculdn't remember how.

Crossbow bolts continued to fly out in constant, steady waves, and eventually one would hit a Fairy, or the Elf. Unfortunately for them, just that happened. An arrow lanced out from the wall, and streaked right through Kaori's wing, severing a major artery there. As she fell, a quatret of Wyvern Riders swooped out from under her, and caught her with several nets. They swooped off, back to the castle, and deposited the bleeding Fairy, as well as the angry looking Elf, into the courtyard, where they were immediately dragged under by a score of weighted nets.

One of the guards entered Aiko's room, after a few hours, and curtly said to her, "M'lady, the Emperor wishes to see you. Come with me, please" The guard exited the room, then stood, waiting for the Princess to follow him. Assuming that she had followed, he led her deep into the depths of the Tower, finally ending up at the torture chambers, where Kaori and Ally were chained up against the wall, with Kirsdarke standing in front of them, a bemused expression upon his face.
