Elena walked through the forest, feeling rather frightened by the dark evergreens towering over her. The tall pines seemed to tell her to turn around, but she wasn't getting the message.
She picked up the skirt of her dress as she picked up her pace. Its hems were tightly stiched by her own hands, the thread almost invisible in the intricate floral pattern standing out on the dark green cotton. She continued on, the sky growing darker.

Ginzo stepped out from behind a tree, flanked by 6 dozen border guards who quickly surrounded the human. "What are you doing here, human?" he spat the last word. "This is a deliberate infraction of our border treaties. So, either leave right now, with a warning, or you will be a warning to the rest of your pitiful race."

Elena's eyes grew wide at the sight of the vampire and his guards. "I, um, uh.." she started, barely squeaking out a sound, "I think I'll go ahead and leave with a warning." At that, she quickly turned. 'That was too easy,' she thought as she turned, but only to run into a guard.

"Actually," Ginzo said. "That wasn't the warning I was thinking of." He drew a razor sharp knife, looked at it for a second, then sent it hurtling at Elena. The guards drew their swords in unison with a raspy shting and they held their blades in front of their faces. The guards advanced inwards, towards Elena, in a menacing manner. "I was think of a more... permanent warning," Ginzo told the pitiful and frightened human.

Elena stared at the blade, the expression on her face like a doe in headlights. She ducked quickly, only to turn around and see the dagger inches into the tree. She turned around, in awe of the Vampire guards. She turned and ran, keeping her sight straight-forward, for she dared to not look back.

The Vampire warriors quickly shifted formation, always presenting a solid wall of shields to the human girl. From above, it would seem that the circle swayed out, then crunched inwards around Elena. The Border Guards quickly advanced on her, and held their weapons in front of them, slightly pointed at the human.

Elena stood there, deeply frightened by the vampire guards. How could they trap me so easily? she asked herself. Her eyebrows slanted, thinking of what could possibly happen next.

The Border Guards slanted their swords inward, and advanced towards the frightened girl. They would skewer her in a score of places, and she would quickly die. Ginzo smiled cruelly, the edges of his lips twitching downwards.

"No no no no no!" Elena cried in a quick fashion, crouching down to the ground. She didn't want to die. "Please don't kill me!" She looked up at the lead guard with a pitiful expression, praying that he wouldn't give the signal to end her life.

"Feh" Ginzo muttered. "You aren't worth it, anyways." He motioned for the guards to come forward and restrain the girl, and chain her up. She was defying the government of the Vampires and the Humans, after all. She has to be punished! And Kirsdarke will make sure of that... Ginzo thought to himself.

Elena tried to fight back against the guards, but she was obviously struggling, and there was no point. Well, she thought, At least it's better than being dead. She sighed, as her hands were mercilessly chained behind her back.

A pair of Vampires grabbed Elena by the arms, and began to drag her towards the Vampire Castle. A quartet of Vampires guarded her, making sure that she had no route of escape. The rest of the Vampires ran mercilessly, speeding past trees and plants, loosely arranged in an arrowhead like formation. Ginzo ran at the tip of the arrow, a grin baring over his face.

As the soft heels of her brown leather boots dragged in the soil and over various roots, she let her body fall almost completely limp. She saw no point in trying to break free now, but would try another plan later at Kirsdarke's castle.
