Aras Paolini's back was pressed against a slightly leaning tree, his breathing ragged and heavy as he waited for whoever was invading to pass.
His left hand slowly creeping to the belt loop with a gun threaded through it, Aras snaked his hand around the worn black grip, tighly clutching the pistol. He tugged the barrel slightly out of his jeans as to make sure that it wouldn't snag if he needed to make a shot to save his life.
The cloth shirt on his back sweating and sticking to his muscular skin, the Human glared slightly at the trespassing shadow, resisting the urge to shout out and fire at the silhouette even though they hadn't TECHNICALLY done anything wrong.
"Who goes there?" Aras finally said, as the figure wasn't seeming to be interested in leaving. "This is my land, and I want you to get off. Now. Show yourself, and I might not shoot."

Damn. Vincent thought as he peeked through the many bushes and trees around his target. How could he be this good? He asked himself.
As his deep thoughts were lost behind the sight of the opposing human, Vincent continued to creep around a tree.
What kind of man is he? He asked himself as he tried to look at the detials of the weapon. Pistol. Must be a poacher or tracker.
Resisting to show himself or draw his weapon he took another step as he began to sweat.

"I SAID SHOW YOURSELF!" Aras barked angrily, his skilled eyes scanning the darkened forest. "This is my property! Come out now or stay out!"
His face twisted in fury, the Human craned his neck to try and spot the invader. Seeing a tall form, Aras quickly flattened himself back against the gnarly trunk. He grinned in triumph-- it must be an Elf.
"ELF, COME OUT! I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE! I CAN FIRE AT ANY TIME!" he bellowed, fighting to keep the manaical laughter from flooding his supposedly intimidating cry.

A quick and loud band shot through the trees, only scraping the shoulder of his apponent.
Quickly jumping into a nearby tree he stood on a branch. Lifting his black pearl like gun in the air, it glimmered in the dim lighting. His trailing red cloak whipped in the wind, now flowing steady like a butterfly.
"I'm sorry, but you failed." He mocked as a small grin curled his bruised colored lips.

Aras laughed hollowly, his teeth clenched to avoid showing his pain. "I failed? Try not!"
Firing his gun directly into the man's stomach, Aras smiled cruelly, his teeth glowing in the darkness. His black pistol continued to be pointed at the strange invader, waiting to see what his rebound attack would be. It was ever-so-slightly difficult to duel with guns, but Aras didn't care. It was more efficient than swords.
Twisted looks of evil and pained triumphs were identically flashing towards each other, poses similar, and weapons alike. The eternal challenge between Aras Paolini and Vincent Gozaboro hovered in the thick tension-filled air.
Let the battles begin.

Quickly swiping at the darting bullet it ricocheted off of his arm, shooting it diaganoly, only to have it shoot up and graze his neck.
"Damn." He whispered as a tempting sensation came to him to pull out another gun. His mind, not worrying about how bad the cut on his neck was, he just grinned and bared it.
Neither one of them daring to scintillate their eyelids. Vincent remaining as placid as possible continued to lock eyes with the unfriendly human; Aras.

"So, what are you doing here? Is trespassing one of your hobbies?!" the man snarled, not moving from his bent position, ready to attack at any given moment. This stranger had decided to march onto his property for no known reason. Aras wasn't willing to let him by without a fight. "WELL?!"
Moving his left hand to reload the gun quietly, the human braced himself to pull the trigger or flatten himself against the tree. It was like a deadly game of hot potato, with everything to lose and nothing but bloody and contaminated hands to gain.

Turning behind a large oak tree, Vincent merely smiled seeing how he got hit. He's improved... doesn't mean that I won't try to kill him. The human noted in his head full of thick, long black hair.
Vincent opened the barrel to his gun, making sure there were enough bullets in it, only to find that there were only two left. His hands began searching through the inside of is jacket for his link of death supplies.
"Well, what if I were to say that I was just.. visiting an old friend?" He asked popping the barrel back into place.
