Elena poked her head out of the cave she had taken cover in. She had been walking in the woods, and a thunderstorm had brewed. The closest place where she could take shelter was a small, uninhabited cave. The horrendous thunder and rain had continued, and she started to realize that she was nowhere near the path she had been on.

About ten minutes later, a tall, slender figure appeared at the door way of the Black Mountain cave hide out. Drenched from head to toe, the worn out figure dropped something as it entered, having it land with a thud.
"Ughh... another long tiring day," a man said in a distressed voice. A growing puddle had grown from the droplets that fell from his dark velvety hair.
Stepping over what looked like a motionless snake that he dropped, Vincent approached the center of the dark cave, unaware of the company he had...

Elena leaned against the wall, waiting for the rain to stop. Obviously, she would be waiting for a great deal of time. She sighed, closing her eyes. It had been a long day, and she probably wasn't going to be home anytime soon, so she may had well rest while she had the chance. She layed her bow at her side, and used her pack as a pillow against the cold dirt.

Softly, Vincent walked into the center of the cave, picking up to small stones; flint. He began stricking th stones together quickly, sparks began to appear flickering on and off.
Finally, one spark touched the dry grass that sat upon the logs in the center of the pit surrounded by ashes.
A fierce fire had been made as Vincent relaxed, laying down on the hard black dirt. His maroon eyes settled upon an unknown figure... Perhaps... the harpy?
"Yasutaka?" The human spoke quietly, but load enough to shoot through the blazing pit of flames.

Elena's heart stopped at the voice of another. She hadn't heard anyone enter the cave, and didn't expect to at that. She didn't dare move yet, so only shifted her eyes.
At first glance, she saw the fire. She had felt a warm breeze, but that is common during thunderstorms. She definately didn't expect it to ba a blazing fire only a few yards away.
Then she saw the dark figure, who the voice must've come from. She couldn't see any major features, other than an arm that was much larger than the other. Must've lost it somehow, she thought, keeping her eyes on him. I think he's human?
She closed her eyes, hoping he would think that she was sleeping. She shifted a little, hoping he would come closer and she could get a better look to make sure he wasn't an enemy.

This intruder isn't Yasutaka... he would have responded. Vincent noted in his head while he reached into his inside cloak pocket, pulling out a 45 ACP black hand gun.
"Get up NOW!" He strictly ordered the stranger. Now standing up, his hand stretched out over the blazing fire, aiming tworsd the dark figure.

Elena's eyes opened immediately. She was very alarmed at the powerful anger in his voice. Truly, she didn't want to move, but neither did she want to risk her life with the barrel of a gun looking her in the eyes.
She turned on her knees and rose to her feet, as she brought her hands to the sides of her arms. Openimg her mouth to speak, she waited for some sort of noise to come out, but nothing echoed through the cave but the rumbling fire.
"I'm sorry to have intruded, but I didn't know that anyone lived here, and it was raining, and after seeing trees split in half by lightning, I really, really didn't want to turn into a burnt little crisp, and this seemed like a good place to stay for the night, and I..." her voice quieted as she trailed of, and looked him in the eyes, hoping that maybe, just maybe, he would show mercy.

Who is she!? He screamed in his head as he began to observe her. Blonde... about 5'5, perhaps 120 pounds... jade eyes... too soft for a human. Must be-
"Ms. Elena Soba... how could you possibly cause any danger anyways... you couldn't even bruise a peach if you tried!" He said, mocking the Wizard as his right arm branched across his waist.

Elena sighed in relief after realizing that he wasn't a threat. And then it hit her. "How do you know who I am? I know who you are, who doesn't around these parts, but how would you know a simple wizard girl?" She asked strongly, an unusually firm tone mixing with her normal, softer voice.

His laugh slowly stopped as he stared at the wizard. His pupils large, dark, and foccused.
"Well, if you really know who I am, you wouldn't be asking how I know you," he said as he raised an eyebrow, slightly lowering his gun.

"Well," she started, relaxing her shoulders a bit, "I know that you have quite a history, and that you are quite the fighter." She then turned to look outside of the cave, only to see that the storm was rampaging more than ever. "But that doesn't explain how you know me. Elena now wondered if everyone else knew something that she didn't. ''Should I know?"

Vincent now held his gain at midwaist, giving a small chuckle at the stupidity of the wizzard.
"Then... you don't know me at all." He said as he turned around and looked outside at the heavy falling rain.
"Oh," he began as he turned his head. The flowing claret colored cape whipped against the wind along with the snapping flames which engulfed anything that entered. "And to answet your question, you don't have to know.."

There was a short pause before Elena replied. "Maybe I don't know that much about you. I never said I did, only heard of you."
Elena turned her face from the fire, as the heat had become overwhelming. "And seeing as I've only known you for less than an hour..you're probably right."
The wizard girl bent down and sat in the presence of the flames, taking in the comforting warmth that reminded her of home. That had just now reminded her that the rain was still pouring down on the small pines of this human forest, and she was most likely not getting there tonight. She glanced up at Vincent, whose back was turned to her as he gazed blankley through the entrance. "Vincent?" she asked, loud enough that he could hear it over the fire's roars.
