Rini blinked. "Nothing..." She said softly. "Sometimes wolves bark when they're having fun you know." She explained, glancing at the harpy boy. Her thick fur blew in the wind as she flew, or that's what she felt like as the cool breeze whizzed by her.

"Well, we're almost there," the boy informed the halfling. Sighing, he then began doing barrel rolls to the right, the oppisite direction of the wolf; gradually gaining feet. The wind was calm, but his mind wasn't. His day of relaxation wasn't what it turned out to be.. so far.
"There it is!" He shouted out to the wolf. He began flying straight into ccave, dissapearing into the darkness.

Rini boundeed after him, sliding to a halt in the dark cave. "Where are we?" She asked, looking around the cave bewildered. She sighed, watching the harpy boy. She sighed. "Well?" She asked him. "Where are we?"

"In a cave, what else does it look like?!" The harpy snapped at the wolf. He continued to walk straight into the darkness, where the cave soon tuned into a tunnel. Sounds of water droplets echoed, along with other random unknown noises.
"C'mon." He said, as his voice echoed through the long tunnel. There wasn't any light, but the harpy had been there many times to guide himself without it anyways.

Rini's eyes swiftly adjusted to the light, and she followed. Why does he still want me here? She wondered, glancing around. Then a question she had ment to ask returned to her. "Why were you so mad at the dragons?" She asked, following.

"Because..," the harpy boy whispered. Taking a turn, he pulled the halfling close to him so she wound't get lost. "Stay close if you want to get out of here." He said to the halfling, making sure she was still close by.
The sound of running water go louder, the ground below them began getting softer and softer. Brissles of grass popped up here and there, brushing against his legs.

Rini blushed as she was pulled towards the harpy, but didn't protest. She followed him, silently for a while. Then she heard the water. "water..?" She asked, looking ahead. She felt his warm body against her side, and she felt safe again... why she didnt' know, but she didl.

Light entered their sight, becoming larger and larger every second, revealing an Under Ground Spring. A large lake filled the center of the lush green field, plants of different colors covered the ground like a quilt, and wild animals popped up here and there. His eyes were directed to a large waterfall, flowing out of a whole in the side of the mountain, giving music to their surrounding.
Releasing his grip on the halfling, he began walking twords the edge of the lake. His eyes wide open, and his feet continued moving off the edge of the grass, falling into the lake. The cool water felt nice on his face, but his wings weren't... happy. Spiraling down, towrds the center of the lake he opened his eyes, seeing many schools of fresh water fish, plants, and bubbles.
His mouth opened, bubbles of air surfaced the water, and his back layed flat on the bottom of the spring lake, slowly drifting away.

Rini gasped at the scenary. "It-It's beautiful." She whispered, though possibly not in time for the harpy to hear her, he had flown away. Rini's ruby eyes eagerly drank in the beautiful landscape, she too running forward towards the lake. She dove in, the cool refreshing waters soaking through her clothes, making her hair and fur droopy. She felt wonderful. She loved the feel of floating free in the water.
Rini resurfaced, taking in breathes of air, shaking the water from her face like a selfrespecting wolf always did. That's when she say the harpy boy. He was sinking to the bottom of the lake, Rini's heart was pounding. Won't that hurt his wings? She wondered frantically, diving below the surface, opening her eyes and swimming swiftly towards him.

Harpies cannot hold their breath for long, nore can they swim; even their wings were of no use in water.... until now.
Quickly jolting his eyes open, the harpy flapped his wings, ignoring the thought of flight and went straight to the surface, gasping for air. His heart pounded against his chest quickly as he struggled trying to get to shore. Water splashed everywhere as fish scattered below for hidden places. Ripples formed, wuickly being erased by falling water.
Great! The harpy yelled at himself above him being scaered. He began bobbing up and down in the water, appearing and disappearing from the surface.

Rini resurfaced, then dived for the boy. She wrapped her arm around his waste, pushing off from a rock. The wolf girl Kicked her legs frantically, pushing herself to the shore line. Her tail helped as an extra limb, and finally the made it to the shore. "Are you ok?" She asked, once she had set the harpy ont he ground.

The harpy began to cough, gasping for air; able to breathe once more with out swallowing water. Dangit! The harpy yelled again at himself, not being a burdan to the wolf.
"Thanks." He mumbled under his breath with a cough. His heart beat had gone back to normal, but his mind was truely frustrated. "I could have saved myself though," he added stubbornly.

Rini rolled her eyes. "Suuuure, and I can fly." She said sarchastically. She glanced to the waters that she had just emerged from. It's sad he can't swim... it's an amazing sensation... She thought melancholily.

Sitting in his own little puddle, water continued to run down the sides of his face. I'm not good for anything. Am I? The young harpy sat on the wet dirt at the water's edge, both emotionless and motionless.
He himself, didn't enjoy the sarcastic attitude of the wolf's. All he wished for was for her to shut up and leave him in peace.

Rini turned to look at Yasutaka Did I hurt his feelings? She wondered, glancing back to the waters. "Was it something I said?" She asked, turning her ruby eyes back to the harpy.
