Rini blinked. "Fine." She mumbled, sitting on a rock. They had arrived at the spring, and Rini crossed her legs, perched on the rock. "I'll just sit." She said stubbornly. Why are my moods changing?? She thought furstrated.

The young harpy has his eet in the water, knee-high. Ahh.. refreshing. He said as his aching fet touching the water. His long talons clensthed as his lower legs felt refreshed.
His eyes peeked over to the stationary halfling, then back to the water. Why is she still here?

Rini continued to sit, sighing. I try to be nice but I always mess it up with him. I'm such an idiot. She thought, sighing.

He stayed still as possible, his eyes beaded tword a fish in the river. It had been days since his last meal and this fih was large. Large and dumb to be out in the open and not aware of what he was capable of doing. A quick splash and everything was done. The harpy was now standing with a fish in one foot, the other held his balance.
"Food." He said, hungerly as he brought his foot up to his mid-waist for his hand to grab the fish which was still alive. Only about a minute of your life left.. until your my meal. Or instead ofsuffering- Quickly tearing off the head of the salmon with his hand he tossed it aside and stared at his meal.

Rini stared hungrily at the food. She also hadn't eaten in a while, but she had had some meals, a rabbit here and there. This fish looked delicious, but of course the Harpy wasn't going to share with the likes of her.

Looking at the fish, then quickly at the hungry looking wolf, he tore the meat in half. "Here." He said, tossing the piece of meat to the halfling. Quickly sittign down on the dirt with his feet back in the water, he began to feast on the salmon's meat. "Cherry Salmon... a pitiful creature." He said quietly to see if she would catch his small joke.

Rini smirked at the Harpy's joke, digging her blunt human teeth into the fish. she sighed. This isn't working. She reverted to herwolf form and quickly tore through the fish, then chewed on the bone, later tossing it. She reverted to human form, watching the Harpy as he ate.

The harpy worked his way around the small bones, then tossed the remains. His feet were feeling much better and he stood up. Time to move on. He said, looking up the rocky mountain.

Rini stood up with him, intending to follow him. If he thinks I'll be a burden he has another thing coming. Few things are better mountain creatures the wolfs. She thought to herself, her short silver hair ruffleing in the mountain breeze.

"Do you think you'll have problems getting up there?" He said looking straight at the wolf which he had shared his meal with. He was hoping for her to not be able to get up there, but she was able to turn into a wolf.

Rini smirked, turning to wolf form. "Does it look like I'll have a problem?" She asked in wolf form, jumping off the rocks in a rather showoffing manner. She smiled a wolf smile, her tail wagging slightly.

"As long as you don't drag me back, then I won't mind if you follow." He said, flapping his wings, lifting him off the ground, flying passed the wolf at a steady flying rate. Surprisingly to him, no feather came loose or fell to the ground. The wind, once again combed his hair and the cool breeze smoothly brushed his face.

Rini loped below the bird, following easily. The breeze brushed through her coarse fur, a wolf smile creeping across her face. She looked up, being sure not to lose the harpy. She had found him again, and had no intentions of loseing him.

The harpy stopped, almost instanly hearing an unfriendly sound. "Not them again..." he mubled, looking diagonally to him. There, four Jade mountain dragons began to snarle and flare thier nostrils coughing up smoke. "Hey, halfling, we have company." He said, looking at the four mallevolent creatures.

Rini looked up. She growled warningly, then reverted to her human form, bringing out her bow. She aimed for one of the dragons, fireing the arrow towards him. Unlucky for Rini it simply bounched of his nose, annoying the dragon. He made a dive for the wolf girl, who reverted back to wolf form, preparing to face of the dragon. Her strong jaws were open, showing her gleaming teeth. She growled. "Come near me dragon breath, I dare you." She taunted.
