"They thought they did too. They were wrong." A choked up voice floated through the air to Rini who was still tending to this strange boy's wounds.
Ally pressed her palms into her eyes and shook her heard violently, refusing to let any of her emotions spill over into the open. She was too vulnerable that way and it was much too difficult to stop her thick release of feelings, which would now doubt include her notorious anger that had gotten her in a lot of trouble with her closest friends.

Rini blinked. "Who in trouble?" She asked, unconciously tightening the bandage rather tightly. She stared at her freind. "Who?" she asked again.

He tried pulling his wing out of her reach, only to feels pain trickle, stricking a stronger feared look on his face. One of his larger feathers drifted down to the ground.
"Why?" The boy began to ask; his eyes shut tightly. "Why are you treating me like this?" He said in a low, angered voice. Making another sound of pain.

"NO!!!" Ally's voice ripped through the night, tearing apart the seams with her thick emotion and her intense firm answers.
"I won't tell you! Not with him around, at least.. I won't tell you until I want to, okay? You don't need to know! Just let me fly through the stars tonight Rini.. Let me be free.."
Her anger tangled with grief and longing, confusing even herself as she closed her eyes and willed herself to be able to fly, just for this moment.

Rini blinked. "Free?" She asked. Then she heard Yasutaka's cries of pain, then, returning her attention to the Harpie. "ACK! I'M SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO TIGHTEN IT SO MUCH!" She said, loosening it slightly. "Better?" She asked, embaressed.

Ally turned back to her friend, hurt and pleas for understanding darkening her eyes to a murky emerald that seemed dangerously close to exploding with emotion.
"Free.." she repeated.
Her ivory eyelids fluttered over her eyes, and the Elf rose out of herself, out of her heavy mind and weighted heart and cement-like layer of anger.. She began to fly, circling the stars and flying like she always knew she could.
Letting out a cry of wonder and relieved passionate delight, Ally's voice echoed in her mind as she hovered in the dark night, the moonlight staining her pale body and illuminating her gently blowing hair. She looked nothing short of a goddess in that moment, and she wished it to last forever.

His eyes lowered to the ground. She hadn't answered his question and he wasn't much of a talker or socialist. "W-why?" He said, his voice almost no where to be heard. All he wanted to do was go fly into a tree and rest for the night and worry about his wound later, but instead this white eared creature treated it for him.

Rini sighed. She knew her freind needed some freedom... but Rini wasn't ready yet. not yet. Just don't leave me... I couldn't handle that. Don't leave me for good. She thought. She heard the Harpies question, and she turned her attention to him. "Treat you how?" She asked, looking at his pale face. "If I'm hurting you I'm sorry." she said softly, her ears lowered apologetically.

The harpie slammed his fist to the ground at the halfling's stupidity. "Leave me alone!" He shouted as he quickly turned around to take off. He couldn't use his wings and his feet weren't that great on the ground, yet he still ran the best he could. Hislarge talons gripped the ground each time he stepped and with each step he took he lost blood and balance, making him fall to the ground, knocking the wind out of him.

Rini jumped for the boy. "Don't! You'll hurt yourself!" She said, almost angrily. "Just sit down! I'm not going to hurt you!" She said pulling the harpie to the ground with her.

Ally stopped dead in her tracks and, even though leaving this heaven would be unbearable, she zoomed back to her body and sat up in horror.
"Rini, LEAVE HIM." The Elf spoke firmly, but it wasn't particularly harsh.
She rushed to the fallen harpy and slapped his cheek as hard as she could to wake him up. Even though she could suspect that he was a traitor, Ally prayed that he would wake up.

Noticing Rini continue to drag the boy around and heal him, Ally snapped, "STOP IT! He doesn't want you to help him! He's used to seclusion, and you are scaring him to death! Leave the boy ALONE!"

The Harpy quickly lunged forward, gasping for heaping amounts of air. He clasped his talons around the halfling's hands, hoping this would stop her. His eyes wide, his chest no longer feeling heavy. His body ached from being dragged and now his wing was in worst condition then before.
"Stop it!" He shouted, letting his grip on his talons fall to the ground, scratching the girl on both of her hands faintly. "Stop trying to help me! You're a-" His voice cut short, his eyes rolled up, and he fainted, fallign forward twords the wolf halfling. He had been flying around al day with no rest, and with the blood loss and slender body he was to weak to stay concious.

Rini caught the Harpy, stopping his fall to the ground. Small tears were in her eyes, but she wiped them away. "He's hurt, can't you see damnit!" She exclaimed angrily. She didnt' know why she had such a need to protect others, but she did. She couldn't watch someone, even if she didnt' know them, get hurt if she could do something. She felt the Harpy's pale face against her arms, and it almost felt like a hug.

"LET ME TAKE CARE OF HIM!" Ally yelled in fright, rushing towards the harpy and picking him up. The bloodloss and fatigue was evident by his weight, and the girl quickly brought him over to the grassy spot where her body had lain previously.
With the boy on the ground, the Elf concentrated all her power and with a shudder, felt her mind enter his unconscious one, but she managed to not be sucked into him.
'I'm Alanna Elensar. My friend is the white-haired wolf halfing that was hurting you. Tell me what I need to do to stop your blood flow. I won't keep you, just make sure that you don't die. People don't die on my watch, no matter how much I don't trust them.' This thought bubbled in Ally's head, and she pushed it through their mental connection, hoping that he would recieve it.
